At Loblolly Cellars we aim to bring the charm of the Texas hill country and the amazing tastes of fine Texas wines to the city. We are San Antonio natives and have a great love for this city which is why we chose to establish an urban winery here. Our urban winery and tasting room allow us to share our great wines with you and become your new favorite wine spot to relax and grab a drink!
K4H Vineyards
In 2018 in the north end of Colorado County Texas, surrounded by Loblolly pines, we started our vineyard on our family Ranch with 400 Blanc du Bois vines. It took constant nurturing and training, and in 2020 we harvested our first crop. And in 2020, we extended our vineyard by planting 400 Camminare Noir vines. Stepping into the role of being a “grape-grower” has opened up an entirely new world for us and has brought our family closer.
The Loblolly Journey
From the beginning to now, we have had the same goal, to bring our fine Texas wines to the people. Our love for wine began in the early 2000’s and has only grown since. Nothing compares to the joy of sharing a good bottle of wine with your favorite people and that was what drove us to begin Loblolly Cellars. Our passion started when we planted a vineyard on our family ranch in Colorado County, Texas in 2018 The journey blossomed from there and we began making our own family stash of Blanc du Bois wine. With our Blanc tasting so good we just knew we had to share it with the world. The Loblolly Cellars name came to us in a similar fashion. On the family ranch, leading up to and surrounding the vineyard are thousands of loblolly pine trees, making the view of the vineyard picturesque.
The Loblolly Wine Trailer
Being only in San Antonio, was not an option for us. We needed a way to bring our wines to the hometown of our vineyard, Columbus Texas, and through out the state of Texas! The Loblolly trailer was born! It is outfitted to serve our wine anywhere with a large wine refrigerator, a frozen sangria machine, and a state-of-th-art wine chiller.
